Multiplier lab

Glow is not an explanation.

Every multiplier needs a base, a trigger, an order and a limit. Read those four facts before the number starts moving.

01

Start with the base score

A multiplier changes a defined value: target points, a combo subtotal or another quantity named in the mode rules. Without that base, 10× and 100× are only visual claims.

Score units are not money. A points total has no cash, merchandise or transferable value unless official rules explicitly create that value and explain who qualifies.

01

Base

The exact score or subtotal being changed.

02

Trigger

The action or event that activates the change.

03

Order

The sequence when more than one bonus applies.

04

Cap

The maximum permitted by the published rules.

02

Follow the calculation in order

Addition and multiplication do not always occur in the same sequence. A clear result panel lists the base, each adjustment and the final total so a player can reproduce the score.

Temporary, cosmetic and event-only values should be labelled. A large on-screen figure should not imply an available prize when it represents only a momentary score effect.

03

Make the next decision independently

A streak tells you what happened, not what must happen next. Use the current target, visible rules and your pre-set limit. Do not extend a session because a large multiplier feels close or overdue.

Save a round receipt when a ranked event is involved. The receipt should carry a run identifier and enough calculation detail to support a reasonable score review.
