The Pre-Entry Tournament Checklist

Seven questions that turn a leaderboard event from a rush of graphics into a clear, informed decision.

Editorial note: This independent guide explains game concepts and public guidance. It is not a live offer, financial advice or a promise of results.

01

Know the window and the audience

Confirm opening and closing times, time zone, age requirement, eligible locations and device rules. Check whether entry is free, limited or tied to any purchase. Official rules should answer each point without relying on promotional artwork.

02

Know what makes a score valid

Review the number of attempts, scoring mode, tie-break, connection requirements and anti-cheat review. Live rankings can move while results are being checked, so distinguish a provisional board from a final result.

03

Know the reward and the exit

Read the reward description, claim deadline, verification steps, delivery limits and substitution terms. Then set a time and spending boundary before entering. A leaderboard should never decide those limits for you.
